Marketing Intern

Pepperdine's Student Programming Board works to plan events for students by students. With Administrative, Event Planning, and Marketing committees, the Board provides opportunities for students to find community on-campus. With varied types of events, there is always something for someone!

Student-made films are showcased in Pepperdine's very own Smother's Theatre & Elkins Auditorium. With a cocktail hour before the show followed by desserts afterwards, this annual event is a must-attend for every movie-obsessed student!

Sports Marketing, Ticketing, & Outreach
A versatile position in Pepperdine Athletics has opened doors to a new world. It has broadened my understanding of marketing in different industries. In the office, I work on creating promotional materials sent out in weekly newsletters, send emails as part of community outreach, and research organizations to invite on gamedays. When it comes to gamedays, I am face-to-face with attendees and assist in creating a smooth ticketing process.



Pepperdine Student Activities
Late Night Lineup Intern
Late Night Lineup is a pilot program hosted by Student Activities at Pepperdine University. These weekly, Friday & Saturday late-night events are done in the spirit of cultivating community on campus. As part of the pilot, I work to promote these events as well as remain a spirited greeter for student-attendees.

Student-Faculty Mentorship
Under the guidance of Integrated Marketing Communication Professor Wangari Njathi, I support the planning and logistics of educational field trips and coordinate with the Alumni Office in inviting guest lecturers and judges for final student presentations. I also work on promotional materials for the Pepperdine Communication Division Instagram and LinkedIn. Additionally, I assist in providing feedback to introductory IMC students.
